OUR UNIT

Semper Fidelis

As recorded in the Detachment’s mission statement, its purpose is to preserve the traditions and interest of the Corps and to promote service to others above self interest. The Esprit de Corps among the membership is embodied by our motto “Semper Fidelis” - “Always Faithful.”

SERVICE ORGANIZATION

Iredell County Detachment #1097 in North Carolina was chartered on April 2, 2002 as a subsidiary organization of the Marine Corps League; a Congressionally Chartered 501(c)(4) non-profit charitable veteran’s organization.

OUR MEMBERS

All positions within the League are made up of volunteers who serve for the pleasures of the members and are elected by the members and are open to regular members. There are also many volunteer positions for associate members. Volunteering is highly encouraged and even the smallest participation is greatly appreciated.
